The BYOF advantage

Hotel ballrooms and dedicated wedding venues often require in-house catering at fixed per-head rates. A standalone event hall with a BYOF policy lets you hire your own caterer, bring your own bar (with a license), and choose your own vendors — which typically results in significant savings.

SBDC in Lomita is BYOF. You're free to use any caterer, DJ, florist, or decorator of your choice. We don't require vendor fees or preferred vendor lists.

Capacity and layout flexibility

The ideal reception venue should accommodate your seated guest count comfortably — with room for a dance floor, a head table, a DJ setup, and a bar area if you're having one. A general rule: plan for about 20 square feet per guest for a seated dinner with a dance floor.
